Textured Wabi-Sabi Gold Grid Relief Painting – EV#0508
Description
Product Overview
Bring tactile warmth, luminous sophistication, and sculptural presence to your space with this original hand-painted 3D relief canvas by Eliot Vermeer. Set against a serene, clean white background, the artwork features an organic grid matrix of sculpted, rounded-square geometric forms finished in rich metallic gold. Crafted with heavy impasto and dimensional plaster techniques, each individual golden block boasts expressive knife-carved ridges that catch and reflect natural daylight, striking a refined balance between raw organic texture and modern understated luxury.
The Story Behind the Art
Artist Eliot Vermeer drew inspiration from ancient gilded stone pathways, sunlit mosaic tiles, and the gentle beauty of natural repetition. By transforming structured grid geometry into softened, slightly irregular pebble-like shapes, Eliot celebrates the delicate harmony between order and spontaneous handcraft. Rooted in the Wabi-Sabi philosophy, the textured gold foil finish honors the organic imperfections of the surface, creating a timeless visual rhythm that infuses modern interiors with quiet warmth and reflective calm.
